We did struggle a little to find the meeting point and only 1 persons phone from the party worked in Montenegro so we were a little bit worried at the start, but don’t let that put you off. “It was a remarkable downhill bike ride. There are multiple places to stop and take photos. Ivana, the guide, was a delight. While she is involved in mountain rescue, extreme sports like canyoneering, and more daunting tours like repelling, she was great with our small group which included an enjoyable German couple. “We really enjoyed the tour, the places visited and our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. I did, however, find it difficult to get on and off a bike with a crossbar (normally for men) as I am not very tall and had to tilt the bike almost to the floor to mount and dismount. The roads can be very busy, which can be scary at times, but there are many places where you can use tracks at a lower level to avoid hills and the traffic too.”

“We had an amazing morning with Igor our tour guide today. He met us at the port of Kotor and took us on a scenic bike ride and then a hike into the upper town. We asked him if we could stop for a swim on our way back and he found a great spot for us to stop and get a swim.
